So, after her move, Savvy has really gone through some ups and some downs, but her lowest was when her sister was having anger stints for no apparent reason, and she had to almost practically take care of the farm and basketball all at the same time. Savvy has been practicing on her game though, working to get better with a work out regimen that Coach Fitz gave her. Though she's doing pretty good, she still hasn't got that much wanted starting job for the Fire basketball team. Working day and night on her game, her friend Gonzo has been through all of it with her since her move. One day, the Fire basketball team is playing the Newport Power, the toughest team at their jamboree, but definitely not going to let up. Coach Fitz hates them, because their coach, Coach Kronos, used to play for Coach Fitz when she was in high school, but something went on between the two and she moved to a different school. Through the scandal, it cost Coach Fitz his high school coaching job, so yeah, he wasn't very happy. But the game is what mattered to Savvy. She started the game on the bench, but went in in the second half. She did amazing, and led her team to the win over Power. When she goes outside to meet her parents, she meets Coach Kronos as she's talking to her parents. She offers Savvy a spot on her team, and then leaves. As everything is going on, Savvy's sister, Callie, tries out for flier on the cheerleading squad, but is told she is too heavy to be the position, which is what she has been forever. As she is trying to get skinnier, she tries different tactics, but she finds a friend who is able to take her to the gym to be able to work out everyday. She's getting results, and she's getting super buff. Savvy looks at her, but doesn't think twice about it, because she is focused on a boy, Marc Sardakis. Marc plays wide receiver for the high school, and he is a star. Savvy is in love with this boy, but that comes back to bite her when she catches Marc and Callie making out in the woods at a party at Savvy and Callie's house. She's disappointed, and doesn't even want to talk to Callie at all. At basketball practice, things are going to get a little bit better, because Savvy dunks the ball for the first time in her life. She's excited, but she gets a talk from Coach Fitz to not do it again. Right after that, Savvy is given the starting job at center. Absolutely excited, she does great in the next few games. She's given a challenge, but it doesn't match to the confusion she's been feeling about trying to see if she would want to go to Power to play basketball. Time flies by, and Savvy is getting the hang of the farm, and she is absolutely getting stronger and better at basketball, but this is about to change. After a basketball game, she is taken into the locker room with her parents, where she is told by a detective that steroids have been found in her bag and that she had to answer some questions as to where she got it. Being absolutely scared, she tells authorities that she knows nothing about how the steroids got in there, and if she knew anything she would tell them. Her parents take her to get a drug test, and wait as it is sent of to professionals to get it checked. Meanwhile, at school the next day, she is made fun of and looked at like she was an alien. Not knowing whether she was going to play basketball or not, she was about to lose the one thing that made her who she was. When she gets cleared, she goes to play Power once again, where her Fire team gets the "W". As she looks on the internet, she sees something that catches her eye. She finds about some kind of steroid that has the same effects to it as she has been noticing about her sister, Callie. Callie had used the steroids to become fitter and be stronger. She put the steroids in Savvy's bag to try and hide them so that she could use them. When Savvy asks her about it, she is forced to tell the truth, and everything goes back to normal in time.
