Knights of the Hill Country Chapters 1-9

The book, Knights of the Hill Country, it's a really good book. It's a football book which is centered around a high school star linebacker for the undefeated Kennisaw Knights. Hampton Green is a star linebacker, who is almost the typical football player. He is popular, he is athletic, so everybody knows his name. He's a little different though, because he likes a girl who normal football players wouldn't like, and he goes home to a mom who seems to have a new boyfriend every week. His best friend, Blaine Keller, is the most popular of the football players and perhaps the craziest. He's good with girls and has the craziest drive of any players on the team. But Hampton Green is not so good with girls, and once dropped chili on a girl he was on a date on who had a white dress on. Hampton doesn't seem so under control off the field, but on the field is an entirely different story. He feels as if he can stop time on the field as see where the quarterback is going to throw it before he throws the pass, and see where the runningback is going to go before the hole opens up for him to run through. He is totally in control on the field, he just wishes it was like that off the field as well. But now, he has a date with one of the hottest girls in school, and Blaine and his girlfriend are having a double date with Hampton and this other girl. It's about go get real.
